Inter-School Music Competition

Insight BCG organized 'Consonance', a music competition. It was conducted at Dr. S. Radhakrishnan International School (Malad). A total of 10 schools participated.

The competition had 3 categories: Solo, Duet, and Group singing.

For both Solo and duet categories, participants had to come prepared with a song of their choice, in English or Hindi, based on one of the given themes - Celebrations, Journeys and Memories.
Music teachers were not allowed to participate in these categories.

Group Singing: Teams were given a set of poems in both Hindi and English, taken from textbooks of various boards. The teams’ task was to choose a poem and then put it to song. They had about an hour and a half to compose the music and prepare for their performance. Music teachers were allowed to be a part of this category.
