BCG Inter-School Essay competition (2016-17)

Gurukul Skylights organised Narratives, a creative writing competition for students of classes 6 to 10. This was an online competition.

The focus this year was Story-Writing. Students had to create a story choosing one of the following guidelines:

1. Using these 3 things (candle, necklace, scissors) in it.
2. Adding Cinderella as another character in the story of "The Little Red Riding Hood".
3. Imagining you are invisible & write about your experiences.

Noella is a Singapore based author of 'When I Grow Up' - An illustrated board book for kids. Noella has written feature articles for “The Singapore Women’s Weekly”, “India Se” “Young Parent” and “Femina”. Her short animated film “Haptics” won best animated short at the Hollywood film festival.

Clement Ferro
Clement is an architect by profession. However his passion is writing. He is the author of ‘Bandra Buggers’, a book about family stories set in Bandra. The book, recently made in to a short film, is an outcome of writings on his blog by the same name.
